According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to allow as many as four players to leave the club in the January transfer window.
The report claims that head coach Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to listen to offers for midfielders Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama, while Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen are also surplus to requirements.
Tottenham did not make a single signing during the summer transfer window, but have not ruled out bringing in new players at the start of 2019.
Dembele will see his current deal expire at the end of the season. Wanyama has a contract until 2021, but has struggled to stay fit.
Nkoudou and Janssen, meanwhile, have failed to make the grade at Tottenham following moves from Marseille and AZ Alkmaar respectively.
News that all four could leave in January is certainly a surprise, and the Tottenham fans have been on social media reacting to the transfer speculation:
