Solskjaer could revert back to a midfield diamond, with Nemanja Matic coming in to fulfil the holding role, Fred and Scott McTominay playing centrally and Bruno Fernandes playing in attacking midfield.

Daniel James is another doubt for the game, so Solskjaer may opt to leave him out. This will see him turn to Mason Greenwood to line up alongside Anthony Martial as the main strikers, though Odion Ighalo will also be in with a shout after scoring a brace on Thursday night.
