Barcelona recorded a thumping 3-0 win over Eibar on Saturday at the Ipurua Stadium.
The Catalans were convincing on the day and even though they faced a tricky opponent at a difficult ground, they comfortably secured all three points and, thanks to Real Madrid’s defeat to Mallorca later on the same day, they are now top of the table in La Liga.

But not all was as rosy as it may have seemed.
Sergi Roberto had to exit the pitch at half-time due to what has now been officially confirmed as a strained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
We still don’t know for how long the Spaniard will be sidelined but the fans, amazingly, were quite taken with the update.
Many of them swarmed Barcelona’s official account saying that this is, in fact, good news and even a blessing in disguise.
