Alex Iwobi came through the youth system at Arsenal before making his first-team debut for the Gunners in October 2015.
The attacker can no longer be considered a youngster at the age of 21, and it would be fair to say that he is yet to convince on a consistent basis.
Indeed, Iwobi only managed four goals for Arsenal last season, and has struck just twice in 30 appearances in all competitions during the 2017-18 campaign.
The 14-time Nigeria international, who is valued at £9m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has taken a lot of stick from Arsenal fans in recent weeks, and he has been given some more this week.
Arsenal decided to look back on Iwobi’s first ever goal for the senior team, but it simply gave the club’s supporters the opportunity to have another pop at the attacker.
Indeed, some even claimed that Iwobi was Arsenal’s worst ever player, which is perhaps a touch harsh when considering some of the horrors that have turned out for the Gunners.
