Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed Ethan Nwaneri will be out with a muscle issue for "weeks" as the Gunners' injury list grows.

The 17-year-old scored Arsenal's opener against Brighton at the weekend but was forced off at half time with a muscle problem. Now, journalist Sam Dean has relayed that manager Arteta believes the attacking midfielder will be out for a "few weeks" with the issue.

Teenager Nwaneri has earned his Arsenal game time after some impressive performances but he has, arguably, been fast-tracked due to the club's injury issues this season. Bukayo Saka, Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Raheem Sterling are all out injured and that is not helping the Gunners' hunt for trophies this term.
